Kate Moss is the new Creative Director for Diet Coke. The supermodel is taking over as Diet Coke is celebrating its 40th anniversary under the new campaign Diet Coke Love What You Love.

Moss will work across projects, including a collection, advertising campaign films, and events around the brand's 40th anniversary.

Kate, 48, is "thrilled to join the Diet Coke family." The British supermodel got the job thanks to her "unique aesthetic and style to the brand."

It comes as no surprise since Diet Coke was involved in several fashionable collaborations.

Moss explained, "I love the past collaborations they've done with such incredible names in fashion."

Kate shared that she connected with the newest camping instantly, sharing:

"The Love What You Love campaign connected with me instantly as I am a firm believer that with confidence and passion, you can achieve your wildest dreams."

"As Creative Director, I'm looking forward to inspiring fans and celebrating the brand's 40th Birthday in style."

Diet Coke is not an average beverage, as it successfully marketed itself in the fashion world. In 2012, the late Karl Lagerfeld designed a bottle, while Ben Stiller starred in an advertisement, playing the world's best male supermodel: Zoolander.

In 2013, the creative director was Marc Jacobs, one of Kate's closest friends. But it is not connections that made Kate the new creative force of Diet Coke.

She previously worked in the same position for the Japanese beauty brand Decorté.

Moss also has something else on her mind. The model shared she has an eye on the title OBE. She was part of the Jubilee celebrations this year, alongside Naomi Cambell and Patsy Kensit.

The mom of one told her friend she would "absolutely love" to be given the nod in the near future, The Sun reported.

Kate is also more involved with charities, and you cannot deny that she is one of the biggest exports from Britain. Hence, Dame Kate Moss sounds about right.
