Kanye,45, shared the fake cover with his fans, calling Davidson Skete, a nickname he used numerous times to insult the comedian. However, this did not sit well with fans.

One Ye fan wrote:

"Take this down, god. You're free to rise above. love you."

Another asked:

"So EVERYONE Kim Kardashian dates is gonna be treated like this?"

Most agreed with this comment:

"This is not even funny."

Another Instagrammer said:

"Watch the energy you put into the universe, man! Not cool, man, you better than this!"

While a minority was amused, most people were appalled:

"You're embarrassing! Stop this nonsense and focus on your craft and kids! This boy is 28! If you want to troll anyone, troll yourself for marrying that plastic and meddling in that coven of a family. As a fan, I hate this for you. Grow up!"

Some fans urged Instagram to remove the post.

Kim and Pete confirmed their split on Saturday. The two dated for nine months and attended several significant events together, including Met Gala.

According to sources, the exes will remain friends, as the break up comes due to Pete's filming in Australia, while Kim's in California, working and looking after her children.

In July, Kim visited Pete, who is filming Wizards!, and the two had a romantic getaway in the Daintree Rainforest.

A source told ET:

"They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship."

Kim and Kanye married in 2014 but were separated by mid-2021. Since then, Kanye has tried to impress Kim but also had several short, high-profile romances.

Kim and Pete met on the set of SNL. They shared their first kiss as Aladin and Jasmine in a skit for the show.

Kanye was not happy about the relationship and rapped:

"God saved me from the crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson's a**."

He even buried a clay version of Pete in the video for the song Eazy.
