After being involved in scandals due to his anti-Semitic comments and the "White Lives Matter" t-shirt fiasco, Kanye West has decided to go on a 30-day sex and porn cleanse.
The rapper made his plans known through Twitter. He just got access to his account following a suspension, and he took the opportunity to make the world know he would be denying himself some of his favorite guilty pleasures.
Kanye said he would be fasting from alcohol, adult films, and sex. He would also be taking a "verbal fast."
As soon as he posted the message, it went viral with a lot of people sharing their opinions on what they thought of the rapper's mission.
One person claimed:
"Ye quitting adult films & intercourse but staying on Twitter is sorta like if a meth addict was like "that's it. I'm done. no more cigarettes.""
Another person claimed that Kanye was taking drastic measures to get through "No Nut November."
One Twitter user joked saying that what Kanye West was declaring was just a normal month for them.
A different person, who was critical of Kanye's announcement claimed:
"Some people would rather blame the consequences of their deliberately horrific actions on sex and drinking instead of seeking therapy."
Ironically, despite declaring a verbal fast, Ye has been quite busy on Twitter after the restoration of his account.
He shared two pictures of Migos after Takeoff, one of the three rappers in the group, was killed by a stray bullet. A shooting had taken place during a private party in Houston resulting in Takeoff's death.
West has also taken his fresh opportunity to post on Twitter to attack Harley Pasternak, his friend, and personal trainer.
In screenshots he shared of a conversation he had with Harley, the trainer offered him the option of having a sensible chat or getting institutionalized as a way to keep his erratic behavior under control.
Clearly, Kanye is not happy with Harley's comments. Still, based on the way things are going, it might be a good idea for him to stay off social media to avoid inviting more problems into his already complicated life.
Recently, he lost big business partnerships after Vogue, Gap and Adidas decided to cut ties with him following his controversial comments.
Adidas officially ended its partnership with Kanye West after questions arose regarding the continued business ties with the rapper.

The famous clothing brand explained that they did not want to encourage "hate speech" since they promote "diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness."
Ye had shown up at the Paris Fashion Week wearing a "White Lives Matter" t-shirt. Ramses Ja and Quinton Ward, black rights activists, have claimed that they had turned the controversial phrase into a trademark.
During an interview with Real 92.3 radio, Ja explained that they were holding the federal trademark for White Lives Matter.
"If you want to sell that shirt, you have to come knock on my door, or you have to face Morris, my lawyer."
The two also explained that the money would help Black and Brown communities.
