This week, Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey made an announcement about the arrival of their baby girl.

On Saturday (April 1), the famous duo shared on Instagram that their first child was born on March 30.

In the delightful pictures she shared with her followers, the actress known for her roles in The Big Bang Theory and The Flight Attendant appeared radiant and grinning from ear to ear.

In her Instagram caption, the 37-year-old Kaley wrote: "3-30-23 Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives!"

"We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle."

"Thank you to the doctors, nurses, family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief."

She added, tagging her partner and the father of her baby: "@tommypelphrey didn't think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did."

Sharing the news with his fans and friends, Tom, who is 40 years old, posted his own announcement on Instagram.

The post included several heartwarming pictures of him and Kaley holding the newborn baby in their arms.

He started his caption with a quote from the poet Rumi and wrote: "You are the Soul of the Universe. And your name is Love.' -Rumi."

"My heart is full of love and gratitude for this miracle… Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey 3/30."

"Eternally grateful for the strength and bravery of my soulmate and best friend @kaleycuoco. You are incredible."

In October 2022, Kaley and the actor from Ozark had revealed that they were expecting their first child together.

Kaley had announced in her own Instagram post at the time, sharing pictures from a gender reveal party, a positive pregnancy test, and a cute little baby outfit: "Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023. Beyond blessed and over the moon."

On his Instagram feed, Tom had shared similar photos and wrote: "And then it was even MORE BETTER. Love you more than ever @kaleycuoco."

They were introduced by their manager Andrea Pett-Joseph, who had a feeling they were meant to be together before they did.

Kaley spoke to USA Today about the first time they met, saying: "We were set up by [her], which is so Hollywood."

"She's like, 'Oh my God, I think you guys are perfect for each other.'"

Cuoco added: "I was standing with Andrea and Tom walked in, and I heard his voice, and I turned around, and it was like my life was over, or just starting."

"It hit me. It was love at first sight. We were immediately connected. I do feel like I've known him my whole life, but I wasn't ready for him. We're ready to build a life together."
