Jordan Belfort's Ex-Wife Answers Fans Asking If Iconic Margot Robbie Nursery Scene Was Real

Jordan Belfort's former wife, known as the ex-wife of the real Wolf of Wall Street, has commented on a specific scene in the film, suggesting that it was a product of her former husband's imagination.

This is her statement regarding the scene in the nursery.

Dr. Natalie Macaluso, upon whom the character 'The Duchess' played by Margot Robbie in Martin Scorsese's film The Wolf of Wall Street was based, is skilled at distinguishing between the factual events and fictional elements depicted in the movie.

Naturally, being someone who experienced it firsthand in reality, she knows the truth.

This time, it's a memorable scene between Leonardo DiCaprio's character and Naomi Lapaglia, played by Robbie, that is being referred to.

The scene depicts Robbie playfully teasing DiCaprio and seducing him sexually in their child's nursery, following an argument.

Nonetheless, towards the end of the scene, Belfort reveals that two private investigators are watching them through a hidden camera in a teddy bear placed on the dresser, and the plan backfires on Lapaglia.

If you've seen the movie, there's probably no need to refresh your memory about the scene.

In any case, Dr. Macaluso, who served as the real-life basis for the character, has now spoken up about whether the scene actually occurred.

As expected, the reality of the situation was quite different.

Through TikTok, "So many of you ask me – 'is that scene in the nursery real?' Well, I'm gonna break it down for you."

"Do you remember that scene where Margot is laying back and Jordan comes in and Margot – me – had the baby in her arms and she's so mad at him for cheating on her for the hundredth time, and so she's in the nursery and she lifts up her leg and says 'there's going to be nothing but short skirts around here' – did that ever happen?"

"No way! I am not that sexy. I wish I was, but I think that was my ex-husband's fantasy of what he wanted me to be like."

"Secondly, there were cameras in the room, but I did not perform that sexual seductive act towards him."

So, it turns out that sometimes reality isn't as bizarre as fiction portrays it to be.

Even for Robbie, performing that scene wasn't particularly erotic.

Robbie has previously revealed that she had been "secretly dreading" filming the entire scene.

The reason behind her apprehension was that she had to simulate masturbation while being surrounded by male crew members.

She said: "[I was] secretly dreading that scene."

"That was going to be more uncomfortable to watch than the sex scene at the end. It was going to be really awkward.

"It doesn't come across when you're watching the movie, but in reality, we're in a tiny bedroom with 30 crew crammed in. All men.

"And for 17 hours I'm pretending to be touching myself. It's just a very weird thing and you have to bury the embarrassment and absurdity, really deep, and fully commit."

Robbie also addressed another uncomfortable scene in which Jordan punches Naomi in the stomach during sex: "We just wanted it to be just the most tragic sex scene you've ever seen."

"Just uncomfortable and tragic."

"Uncomfortable, because we wanted him to be so unaware of her repulsion towards him."

"Because so much of the nursery scene got cut out, something that you kind of miss is that [Jordan and Naomi] had a sick sort of aspect to their relationship."

"Not them as the real people, but the characters we created."

"He's got this sexual obsession with her, and she uses her sexuality to manipulate him, so they both play these weird sort of f***ed up sex games to just mess with each other."
