At the trial in Fairfax, Virginia, Johnny Depp testified that his ex-wife, Amber Heard, had an affair with James Franco.

Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard in 2019, soon after her op-ed in Washinton Post came out. In the piece from 2018, Amber painted herself as a victim of domestic abuse, and though she did not name Depp, she gave enough pointers, so Depp lost numerous roles.

The trial started on April 11, 2022.

Depp's explosive testimony came with numerous disturbing revelations, including allegations about Amber's affairs.

During the third day of Depp's testimony, he revealed he believed that Heard had an affair with Franco. James Franco and Heard worked on the movie The Adderall Diaries, which was released in 2016.

CCTV footage from the elevator showed Amber and James getting cozy. This was right after Depp and Amber had an alleged fight in May 2016.

Though it is pretty clear that Heard and Franco were in the elevator in the LA apartment she shared with Depp, they were trying to hide their faces.

Heard was seen with tech billionaire Elon Musk in the same month. Strangely, the two were again caught in the same lift.

Depp's legal team called James Franco as a "witness" and planned to ask the actor if he had seen any physical signs of abuse on Heard.

Adam Waldman, Depp's attorney, said:

"We are interested in James Franco and Elon Musk as fact witnesses because we have evidence they are men who saw Amber Heard's face in the days and nights between when she claimed Mr. Depp smashed her in the face in May 2021."

Depp sued Heard for 50 million dollars, while Heard filed a counterclaim for 100 million dollars.

Depp's testimony is finished. Amber Heard will take the stand in the following days.
