For whatever reason, breast milk is still a controversial topic. However, we bet you never thought that you would see a dog and breast milk in one sentence.

Dogs are family. You feed them, play with them, teach them, and of course, you are always there in their time of need. But, they are not humans.

Jill Duggar somewhat disagrees with this.

The oldest Duggar sister found "last teeny bottle of breast milk in the freezer for nearly a couple years now." Her son Sam wanted to taste it, and Jill granted his wishes.

In her Instagram post, she shared that "…it didn't look or smell bad when I thawed it out, so I let him try it. As expected, he didn't like it after trying a couple of sips."

Instead of throwing it away, she did something that did not sit well with her Instagram followers. She gave her breast milk to the family dog.

The former reality TV star stated:

"Also, before any of you jump on me for feeding it to the dog, she's fine. She's totally fine."

Jill continued:

"I wouldn't have given it to her if i thought it would make her sick. So just chill mkay?"

The 30-year-old mom did not break any laws, but there has to be a line, right? At least, that's what we thought. What do you think about giving breast milk to your puppy?

And if you don't want to divide the Internet, why bother posting it on Instagram at all?

At least this sweet dog is fine, and she looks like one happy puppy!
