A woman filled with rage smashed her boyfriend with a laptop for "looking at another woman" on the plane.

The footage of the incident was captured and shared by an onlooker, Julia Scorupco. It has since gone viral on social media.

The video was posted on July 22.

In the video, a raging American passenger can be seen scolding her boyfriend on the flight from Miami before things turned violent.

Horrified passengers can be seen looking as the argument escalated between the woman and the boyfriend.

When the woman became more aggressive, fellow passengers, together with flight attendants, can be seen trying to intervene to no avail.

Then the boyfriend attempted to walk off the seat to get away from the woman.

The argument turned more violent, and the woman can be heard shouting to her boyfriend and calling him "n*****" multiple times.

She became enraged and accused her boyfriend of looking at other women, and begun her tirade shouting at her boyfriend, identified as Memo:

"Shut the f__k up."

"You wanna f__king try to look at other women?"

A war of words ensued, and the woman shouted to Memo:

"Yeah, you better believe that I wear the f__king nuts in public."

As the woman's language got progressively worse, a cabin crew member intervened, pointing out a small child was sitting just behind them.

But the furious woman responded:

"Yeah I know, I f__ing consoled the child."

The flight attendant then asked the woman to bring her bags to the front. At this point, she threatened her boyfriend that if he doesn't go with her, he'll never see her again.

She then began to slap the boyfriend, as other passengers gasped in shock.

The flight attendant asked the boyfriend to go to the front of the plane and get away from her. He got up from the seat and followed the attendant, but the woman didn't let him go away.

She ran after the boyfriend down the aisle, smashed him over the head with a laptop, and continued to shove and slap him.

A member of staff warned her that she's going to be charged with assault, but the woman boorishly replied:

"Fine, whatever."

A witness who posted the video on social media confirmed that the woman was arrested after the incident.

In a statement, American Airlines says:

"Before departure from the gate on Sunday at Miami International Airport, two passengers who were traveling together were involved in a dispute."

"Law enforcement was requested, and both passengers were removed from the aircraft."

"We thank the American crew who worked quickly to diffuse the situation. Their actions resulted in a safe environment for all of our passengers."

The video of the scene has since been retweeted over 30,000 times on Twitter.
