Aquaman star Jason Momoa is down for a remake of the 1988 movie Twins, with Peter Dinklage.
Momoa still has several years left as the starring in Aquaman, but he has started lining up for potential acting opportunities.
Speaking at Celebrity Fan Fest, Momoa has recently revealed he'd love to star in a remake of the classic '80s buddy comedy Twins.
Can you still recall the 1988 movie Twins? The film was released over 30 years ago, and here's a refresher.
Twins - an ageless comedy plus some action
The original Twins film was directed by Ghostbusters and Kindergarten Cop filmmaker Ivan Reitman.
The film featured massive Total Recall and Terminator 2: Judgment Day star Arnold Schwarzenegger and tiny Throw Momma From the Train actor, Danny DeVito.
In the film, Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger star as fraternal twins who got separated at birth. They were a product of a genetic experiment.
When Schwarzenegger, playing Julius, learned that he had a brother, named Vincent, and a mother, he dedicated life to finding them. In his search for his family, he ended up in Los Angeles.
The next thing that unfolded was a hilarious tangle of confusion as the two brothers try to use their individual skills set to find their mother. Many comical conflict incidents happened in their search.
Sounds fun? Well, it seems Momoa is now looking for a remake of the film.
The actor revealed his love for the film during a Celebrity Fast Fest held in San Antonio. A fan had suggested that he appear in a remake of the movie, alongside Dinklage.
We're digging this potential remake
Dinklage is Game of Thrones star, where he played as Tyrion Lannister.
When the suggestion was posed to him, Momoa was quick to express his enthusiasm saying:
"F--kin' tell me where to sign! Absolutely. That'd be amazing. I love that movie."
I don't know about your opinion but, the idea of seeing Momoa and Dinklage joining forces for a remake of the Twins movies sounds like good times. Though the news isn't official, Momoa agreed that Twitter should set to see the new version of Twins into reality.
Many social media users have even started creating photoshops of Momoa and Dinklage in the remake.
Others took to Twitter, sharing their support for the idea, and some even commenting, "this needs to happen," and others "make it happen, please Hollywood."
However, Dinklage hasn't yet commented on the idea. We hope the support from fans will encourage him to join the course.
The original Twins movie was released into theaters by Universal Pictures on December 9, 1988. The buddy-comedy became many people's favorite, and it made an average of $216.6 million on a budget of just $18 million.
