James Corden Announces New Gavin And Stacey Christmas Special

James Corden has just announced the Garvin and Stacey TV comedy series to return as a one-off Christmas special.

Garvin and Stacey will be back on our screens come Christmas. The reunion has been announced and confirmed by Corden.

James Corden revealed that he and his co-writer Ruth Jones had been 'keeping this as a secret for a while,' and are excited to share this good news with you.

On a Twitter post, he said that the TV show would return in a form of a Christmas special episode, despite that the last episode of the sitcom was airing nine years ago.

Gavin and Stacey debuted on the BBC in May 2007 and ran for three seasons. There were 20 episodes, including specials, with the final episode airing in the U.K. on January 1, 2010.

The 2010 New Year's Day finale recorded over 10.3 million viewers.

Addressing his 10.5 million Twitter followers, Corden shared a post titled, 'Christmas Special 2019,' along with a caption, 'see you on Christmas Day.'
