Jake Paul Drops Huge Cristiano Ronaldo Claim Ahead Of His Fight With Tommy Fury

It has been suggested by YouTuber Jake Paul that Al Nassr's superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, may make an appearance at his upcoming super-fight against Tommy Fury on Sunday.

In Saudi Arabia, Paul is scheduled to engage in an eight-round cruiserweight bout against his fierce rival and former Love Island star, Fury, in the main event.

Despite being a controversial figure in the boxing world, the 26-year-old American sensation remains unbeaten in his early boxing career, having defeated UFC legend Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley.

If Paul emerges victorious against Fury during the fight, Mauricio Sulaiman, the president of WBC, has affirmed that Paul would be included in the boxing organization's cruiserweight rankings.

Paul has hinted that Ronaldo may be present at the Diriyah Arena in Riyadh, which would generate even more excitement for the mega-fight.

In 2022, Ronaldo made a stunning departure from Manchester United and signed a profitable agreement with Al Nassr, a team in the Saudi Pro League.

Following his free transfer, the 38-year-old Portuguese striker signed a contract with Al Nassr until 2025 and has since acclimated himself to life in Saudi Arabia with his family.

In a video posted on Top Rank's YouTube channel, Paul was asked if Ronaldo might make a surprise appearance at the fight, to which he replied, "Yeah, I think he's coming to the fight."

Gary Logan, a boxing trainer, and commentator has criticized the contentious choice of the WBC to grant a cruiserweight ranking to the victor of Paul vs Fury.

"It's not even at cruiserweight against a decidedly smaller man and he gets a world ranking," he told the media.

"It's just a debacle. Nothing about it makes any sense to me."

"How does he get a world ranking when he's not boxed anyone near a world ranking as a cruiserweight? Tommy Fury is not a cruiserweight."
