It's Your Job To Change Your Life Into A Life You Like

Feeling like you are stuck in a rut? It's okay, most people do. And sometimes, you feel you can't get out. So, you learn to accept the boring routine as a general fact of life.

Change seems like a risk not worth taking. That is what makes you more fearful of starting afresh. But the cost is enormous–you are sacrificing your happiness to enjoy a feeling of safety.

Instead of moving forward, you dig yourself in.

But here's the thing–if you don't like your life, make a change. You can move, you are not planted there.

If your job is not giving you any satisfaction, then QUIT!

What is the point of sacrificing your mental, physical, and emotional well-being just to get a lousy paycheck at the end of the week? You can still make money while doing a job you like. You just have to make a bold step to make this happen.

And don't use age as an excuse. People have completely turned their lives around in their 60s and 70s. Happiness is an important pursuit at whatever stage you are in life. So, there is no need to give up on your happiness and life's purpose so you can pay your bills. Trust me, it will not be worth it.

If your friends do not bring you happiness, then LET THEM GO!

Be around people who inspire you and motivate you to keep moving forward. Why be around people who suck the life out of you through their negativity?

Don't wait on someone to come and rescue you from the toxic influences in your life. That task falls entirely on you.

Be around people who match your energy. Don't settle for mediocrity. You are meant for much bigger things and know that you absolutely deserve them.

If your relationship is not bringing you happiness, then make it END!

There are many people in the world, and the right one for you should give you what you need to be happy in life. There is more to a relationship than dates, kisses, texts, and hugs. A relationship should help you grow into a better person. So, if you feel like your partner is dragging you down and making your life miserable, then cut them loose.

If you are living in a city you don't like, then MOVE!

Sure, you might know this city better than any other place in the world. But familiarity is not all it takes to be happy. So, don't let the fear of moving into an unfamiliar city hold you back. Keep in mind that many things in this life exist just beyond your comfort zone. You should be happy in the place you are living in.

If a look at your life makes you sad, then change your PERSPECTIVE!

Maybe you are your own worst critic. You worry about things you should not give a damn about, and you beat yourself up over things you have absolutely no control over. But guess what? That's life! So, change your perspective and be a little more upbeat. Be happy with life and don't let any situation take that away from you.

At the end of the day, the most important thing is your happiness. If anything in your life does not make you happy, then you have an obligation to do something about it. Nobody else will. So, what are you waiting for?
