It's Not That They Are Busy, You Are Just Low On Their Priority List

It’s Not That They Are Busy, You Are Just Low On Their Priority List

Nobody is ever too busy, it is all about priorities. We all have time for the things we love. People will always arrange their schedules in ways that accommodate the things that matter to them.

That's why you shouldn't believe it the next time someone says that they are too busy to meet or see you. They have time, they just can't afford to spend it on you. To them, that would be a waste of their time.

When someone says "I'm sorry, I don't have time", what they really mean is that "you are not worth my time. I don't want to waste my time on you."

Come to think about it – there is nothing more precious than time to us in this life. When someone gives you their time, it is the most selfless gift they can offer you.

Once someone gives you their time, it is yours forever because they cannot take it back, even for themselves. Therefore, everyone knows to spend their time wisely on things that mean something or matter to them.

Knowing that you should, therefore, stop wasting so much of your precious time and energy on people who are not willing to spend their time on you.

When you are in a relationship with someone, you have to make sacrifices, and time is without a doubt one of the greatest sacrifices you can make. Without quality time together, your relationship will be doomed to failure.

Being in other people's lives means having to share the time available to you. It is no longer just your time and their time. It becomes "us" time, so to speak. You have to create space for each other in both your lives.

Whenever you are in love with someone, time is one of the investments you have to make in the relationship. That amounts to being available when your partner needs you. You also need to create time together to ensure that the connection you share continues to grow.

A lot of people focus on their own needs and seeming like they don't give a damn. Few are brave enough to embrace compassion, love, and the value of a deep human connection.

That is why being in a relationship with someone who has no time for you is such a huge red flag. Someone who truly loves you will always have time for you.

When your partner says they have no time for you, they simply mean you are not good enough for them.

That said, you obviously can't expect someone to be available to you round the clock. We all need some freedom, "me time", and even time to spend with friends. We also have work obligations that can take a huge chunk of the time we have available to spend with those we love.

The point is this – someone who cares about you will always create time for you, they cannot go for long without you.

That is why you should get out of relationships where your partner does not make an effort to spend time with you. This is especially bad when the person in question is not even willing to give you a minute of their time.

If you are in such a relationship, you have to call things off and find someone who makes you a priority in their lives. It's the least you deserve.
