As his store was being robbed, a Vegas smoke shop owner grabbed a knife and stabbed one of two masked criminals.

The whole incident was captured on cameras. It shows Nguyen asking, "Why are you guys wearing masks like that?" He followed with, "Can you guys just leave?"

One of the robbers then took the jar, but Nguyen told him he could take the jar, not the coins in it.

Then the individuals jumped over the counter, and Nguyen pulled a knife on one of them.

The failed robber was stabbed seven times.

His partner in crime left the shop running.

The stabbed thief shouted, "I'm dead! I'm dead!" before falling to the floor.

Nguyen then called the police.

He told the media that "The whole time, I was a little bit nervous because obviously I was getting robbed."

"I was really scared for my life because they were wearing baggy clothes... one of them came in with a bag as if he had a firearm."

Smokestrom Smoke Shop is on Sahara near Arville, and the incident happened during the day.

Nguyen admitted he plans to purchase a gun in fear of retribution from their friends.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said they had arrested two juveniles. The one who was stabbed was admitted to the hospital after the stabbing.

The police did not comment any further.
