Veronika Rajek is a 25-year-old model and influencer from Slovakia. She has an unusual problem - she is too good-looking.
A former Miss Slovakia 2016 finalist keeps getting her social media accounts deleted because they look too good to be true.
Speaking to The Mirror, she compared herself to some AI being:
"I call myself an alien as people don't believe I'm real."
"They think I'm an AI robot or a catfish online. People say beautiful people have it easy, but I have it worse as people make it harder for me because I'm beautiful."
Veronika Rajek added that it is discrimination, plain and simple:
"It's pretty discriminatory that other women can do the same thing as me, and I can't, and I just get deleted because of my looks."
Though messages from men are a given, the worst ones come from women, Veronika stated. They claim she is fake, and it is hurtful:
"I get messages from men who don't think I'm real, but the worst messages on my Instagram are from women asking me why I'm pretending and asking for proof. I don't make any adjustments, shaping, or filters – I use a skin smoothing tool, but I think that's normal."
The beauty continued:
"I get more abuse from women as they are jealous, and they think I want their boyfriend."
And, yes, she experienced body-shaming:
"Skinny girls are body shaming plus-sized models, but I'm being body shamed too as they don't think I'm natural."
So, what did Veronika do? She provided a sonogram proving her breasts are natural.
"If you feel beautiful the way you are, then you are beautiful."
Though the lady protests too much, getting to travel, promoting stuff for money, and having over million followers on Instagram does not scream hard life.
What would you do if you were Veronika? Perhaps find an offline job or count your blessings? Drop a comment because this is an amusing story, but we do not condone any bullying.
