Meirivone Rocha Moraes, 37, from Brazil, found a man of her dreams, Marcelo. The plot twist no one saw coming - Marcelo is a rag doll.

To make matters more intriguing, the couple now has a baby.

The unconventional love story started once Meirivone's mom made her daughter a doll after she got tired of hearing her complain about her love life. Marcelo was supposed to be the daughter's dance partner.

Moraes spoke to the media, describing what had happened:

"When my mom made Marcelo and first introduced me to him, I fell in love with him. It was love at first sight."

It was all thanks to a dance:

"It was because I didn't have a forró dancer. I would go to these dances but wouldn't always find a partner. Then he entered into my life, and it all made sense."

The 37-year-old explained that in Marcelo, she found what she "always wanted in my life." The sparks flew, and they were pregnant a couple of months later.

Meirivone said that Marcelo "didn't take care of himself, and he didn't use a condom."

Since she did not want a child out of wedlock, the two married.

The wedding included 250 guests, and the bride described it as beautiful, saying:

"The wedding was a wonderful day for me, very important, very emotional. It rained a lot, but it was wonderful. From the moment I walked down the aisle to the end, it was just beautiful. Then went to the wedding night with my husband Marcelo, and we enjoyed our wedding night a lot."

They spent their honeymoon in Rio de Janeiro.

On May 21, the baby was born after 35 minutes of home delivery. The odd couple welcomed Marcelinho with the assistance of a nurse and a live audience. The birth was live-streamed, and around 200 people watched.

The new mom said she "didn't feel the contractions in pain."

Moraes said that the family welcomed the newborn, but they were not happy with Marcelo:

"He has so many great qualities, but the only downside is he's lazy. He doesn't work at all. But I am a warrior, and I keep it going for us."

She has a strong message for those who claim that her family is fake:

"It really upsets me when people say this is fake. It makes me so angry. I am a woman of character. My father and my mother taught me to be honest, to be a good person, and not want to take advantage of anything."

Moraes could be onto something:

"He doesn't fight with me, he doesn't argue, and he just understands me. Marcelo is a great and faithful husband. He is such a man, and all women envy him."
