Saskia and Marcin got married in 2017, after dating for two years. However, she fell in love with someone else, a woman, and he accepted it since he only wants his wifey to be happy!

The couple from Munich, Germany, were married for two years when Saskia, 27, met Lui Michalski. Lui was attending Saskia's CrossFit classes, and the connection was instant.

Though Saskia didn't tell her husband that she's pansexual, she didn't want to keep any more secrets. She was frightened, but she had to come clean about her feelings for Lui.

The biggest twist was Marcin's reaction. Instead of going ballistic, like most men, the 31-year-old was supportive, and all he wanted is for his wife to be happy. Even if that meant sharing her with another woman.

The couple became a throuple

At the beginning of 2020, the couple went to become a V throuple. It means that both Marcin and Lui have romantic and sexual relations with Saskia, just not with each other.

In June, Saskia and Lui got engaged, though they cannot get married for one apparent reason: polygamy is illegal.

The throuples are on the rise, and though unconventional, it works for these three Germans.

As Saskia explained:

"Marcin has always been my perfect match."

"We were both completely monogamous and never even imagined or discussed the possibility of a polyamorous relationship."

"We were so in love, and it was always us two against the world."

Things didn't change since Saskia still loves Marcin. However, she loves Lui as well:

"Lui and I met in one of my CrossFit classes."

"It took a few months until we started talking outside of training, but then things happened fast."

Lui is now part of the family

Saskia explained that they faced harsh criticism from strangers, but they don't really care. Marcin accepted Lui as part of their family, and that was all that mattered.

"He welcomed Lui into our life as if she was his new family member."

"He never saw Lui as a threat. Rather, he saw how happy she made me, and that made him happy."

"Marcin and Lui have a very loving but not romantic or sexual relationship."

"They care for each other and want to spend the rest of their lives with each other but not in an intimate way."
