Unidentified human remains were found in Idaho, on Chad Daybell's property. This was according to a police report confirming the shocking discovery.

The statement reads in part:

"Investigators are continuing to pursue the property for any other information they can find related to this case. Chad Daybell, who resides at that residence, has been taken into custody with charges pending."

After police became aware of the remains, they took Chad into custody for questioning. However, the discovery was made a few hours after the police issued a search warrant for Chad's home, located in Salem, Idaho.

Chad Daybell is Lori Vallow's husband. However, this fact has not been confirmed by the authorities.

Lori Vallow has two children, Tylee Ryan, 17, and Joshua "JJ" Vallow, 7 years old. The two children have not been seen for a while.

Family members from the extended family suggested the remains might belong to the two missing children.

These claims might have some truth to them, based on what police later said of the remains.

"We Are Aware That Those Remains Are The Remains Of Children"

This statement was made by state prosecutor Rob Wood. The two children have been missing since September.

The last time JJ was seen, he was at his school in September. Tylee was last seen in family photos from a visit to the Yellowstone National Park in the same month.

Daybell was arrested on suspicion of hiding, altering, or destroying evidence in a case that involves several states, cult-like religious beliefs, and suspicious death.

Earlier in the year, Lori Vallow was arrested in Hawaii. That's because she had not managed to bring her children to Rexburg in Idaho as the court had ordered.

She pleaded not guilty to the charges of child abandonment, among other charges leveled against her.

Both Vallow and Daybell have a curious history of deaths among close family members. Both had lost spouses in recent months.

However, the police are yet to confirm if the remains belong to the couple's two missing kids.

Daybell was granted a $1 million bail. His lawyer's attempt to argue in favor of a lower bail was unsuccessful.

In fact, even if Daybell manages the $1 million bail, he would have to wear an ankle monitor in addition to meeting other conditions.

The evidence he is accused of concealing seems to align with the dates JJ and Tylee went missing.

Daybell and Vallow got married in Hawaii. Daybell has self-published several apocalyptic books.

JJ was adopted by Lori and her former husband, Charles Vallow, now deceased, back in 2014. The boy was autistic, and Tylee was happy to become his big sister after his adoption.
