Hugh Hefner's Playboy Bunnies Admit Abuse And Bizarre Sex Rituals At Mansion

Despite the assumption that Hugh Hefner's Playboy Bunnies lived an extravagant lifestyle, residing in a luxurious mansion and partying endlessly, the reality was much bleaker for these women. Numerous former Bunnies have come forward, alleging that they were subjected to abuse and compelled to participate in peculiar rituals involving Hefner himself.

1. Everyone Who Lived There Had To Have Sex With Him

Holly Madison revealed in her book "Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny" that it was an open secret that anyone who lived in the Playboy Mansion was expected to engage in sexual activities with Hefner at some point.

2. But That's Not The Weirdest Thing

According to Madison, Hugh Hefner would watch porn and smoke weed while the girls changed into matching plaid pajamas before engaging in sexual activities with each other. Each girl took turns doing things to him, but he always finished himself off.

"There was zero intimacy involved. No kissing, nothing," she shares. "It was so brief that I can't even recall what it felt like beyond having a heavy body on top of mine."

In her book Being Kendra: Cribs, Cocktails, and Getting My Sexy Back, Kendra Wilkinson expressed that these experiences were distressing and that she had to consume a significant amount of alcohol or weed to cope with them. This is alarming!

3. Hefner Was Apparently Very Emotionally Abusive

Former Bunnies have revealed that Hugh Hefner used to frequently criticize their appearance. In her book, Holly Madison recounted one such incident where Hefner warned her not to wear red lipstick again and then insulted her by saying, "You look old, hard, and cheap."

Kendra Wilkinson supported Madison's account and shared that Hefner once told her she had gained weight and suggested that she go to the gym. Wilkinson expressed feeling unhappy and lazy despite having a luxurious life at the mansion, saying, "This was supposed to be paradise, but for me, it wasn't."

4. They Had To Beg For Money They Were Owed

Reportedly, each of the Playboy Bunnies received a weekly "allowance" of $1,000. However, when they went to collect it, they felt as if they were begging for money and were subjected to a litany of complaints and suggestions from Hef before receiving the cash. According to Izabella St. James' book Bunny Tales: Behind Closed Doors at the Playboy Mansion, the Bunnies had to wait in Hef's room while he picked up dog poop from the carpet before asking for their allowance.

St. James noted that this process was despised by all the Bunnies as Hef would use the occasion to voice his grievances about the relationship, mainly concerning the lack of harmony among the girlfriends or their lack of sexual participation in his bedroom "parties." St. James added that Hef would withhold the allowance if they missed an official "going out" night, and he used it as a weapon.

5. The Women Often Felt Trapped In The Mansion

Each of the Playboy Bunnies had a strict 9 p.m. curfew, and they were expected to be back in the house by then. According to Kendra Wilkinson, the early curfew made nights difficult for her as her Playmate friends were out partying while she had to be home. She would receive text messages from her friends sharing their fun experiences and parties with football players in places like Vegas. Missing out on such good times left her feeling trapped and angry. Overall, it was a disappointing experience for Wilkinson.
