Here is what happens – your soul meets other souls again and again, and in the process, your soul grows and changes. The old soul gives way to the new, and that is just the way it is.

So, the people who matter in your life did not magically show up. In fact, you might know them from a past life.

Souls live in many bodies, over several lifetimes. But there are times we get the same parents we had in another lifetime. Sometimes that is not what happens and instead, you choose different parents.

Nevertheless, we choose the people in our lives before we begin a new life. We have no memories of doing that, but we make these decisions while at the source. Yes, all these decisions are made while we are still connected to the source. Therefore, when we return we live out these decisions.

We also make choices as to the sort of lives we would like to have. We also choose the sort of things we would like to learn, which explains why some subjects excite you while you couldn't care less about others.

While still connected to the source, we also choose our partners. These partners will help us along in this life. You can even choose the same person you had in a past life, but you can also reverse roles with them. Generally, there is no limit as to how much you can do, within reason.

It's all part of soul contracts, which determine the time, date, location of birth, and even the family you want and the events that will happen in your life.

So, before your life even begins, everything is clearly laid out. You might not recall the decisions since you made them while still being a spirit, but they have determined what course your life will take.

But when it's all said and done, you still have some wiggle room. You cannot change some major things about your life, but there is still plenty you can change.

For instance, once you are born, you cannot change your biological parents, but there are many decisions you can make about life as you go along.

We might not have a very definite say on how our fates will be like, but our soul contracts are there to help us grow and move forward, and most importantly, increase our awareness.

So, the reason you meet someone and they feel like the right person for you is because a soul contract is being met. Such things might not make sense at first, but over time, everything will become clear because everything will eventually fall into place in a way that satisfies and fulfills us.

In addition to your biological family, you will meet your soul family. But don't shun your biological family in favor of your soul family, both still matter.

Nothing happens without a reason, and you should be comfortable knowing that what you are doing are the things you decided to do before your birth. So, embrace the lessons before you and see yourself grow in all possible ways.
