If you are suffering from Gilmore Girls withdrawals, we have something that might cheer you up.
While the iconic TV show was all about mother-daughter, well, Lorelai and Rory, we can’t imagine the show without Luke, played by Scott Patterson.
Scott has a new podcast, and the name says it all: it is a reference to Season 5 of the show, where he declares to Lorelai, finally, “I am all in.” Like we didn’t know he was head over heels for the spunky brunette since day one.
What to expect from Luke’s podcast
Scott promised the show fans some anecdotes from behind the scenes, and his thoughts, as we watch the show together.
Stars Hollow’s loveable Grinch didn’t even watch the whole show, so it is going to be exciting to see how he will react to his character’s decisions.
In the promo for the podcast Patterson stated:
“I’ve only seen one [revival episode] and I’ve only seen the pilot.”
“I know you guys have been binge-watching [Gilmore Girls] through COVID, and you know, for 21 years… let’s watch it together, guys! We’ll share stories. We’ll share the memories. I’ve got a million stories to tell.”
We bet you do!
How to watch the Gilmore Girl podcast?
Scott will go through all episodes, all 164 of them, including the revival.
He will get into some debates like Jess Vs. Logan (team Logan here, btw), though he still doesn’t know who is the father of Rory’s baby:
“You know, I don’t know! I’ve got my top people trying to get information out of anyone they can that’s in power, and it’s just not working. I have no idea.”
Though Scott’s team Jess, since he was Luke’s nephew, we won’t hold it against him.
Speaking about revival of the revival, Patterson said:
“The minute they announce it, I’d take time off from the podcast … to do the show for sure.”
“Then I’d come back and we’d have a bigger podcast.”
What a tease!
The podcast I Am All In is available on the iHeartRadio app and Apple podcasts. And yes, we are all in!
