Harry Potter's Reunion Mocks The Worst Thing About The Original Ending

Auto Draft

Harry Potter: Return to Hogwarts addressed the worst part of the movies - the epilogue.

The reunion on HBO Max was a beautiful way to mark 20 years of Harry Potter, chat with its stars, and remember those who were part of it but are no longer with us.

Apart from the three main actors, the reunion gathered Helena Bonham-Carter, Gary Oldman, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, and others.

Emma gushed about her first crush, and all three young child actors, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, shared what it felt like being on set.

Furthermore, the reunion offered a deeper insight into behind-the-scenes and some stories that followed one of the best-known and most successful movie franchises.

Rupert Grint talked about that ending - they didn't look older but ill, like zombies, and that's what happened when the makeup was way too heavy. Heck, they looked 50something, not 36.

They went all-in with fat suits, balding heads and looked kind of creepy.

Though it seems funny now, it was a shock for the fans once the movie series ended. It's good to know that the stars of the series felt the same as the rest of us. They were supposed to be 36, but the makeup department really wanted to make them look a lot older.
