A workout influencer encountered major criticism and had her gym access revoked after she shared a video online where she recorded a man working out shirtless at the gym.

Allie Singer, known on social media as @the_rippedbarbie, took a video of another person at the gym who chose to exercise without a shirt.

In her video, she made negative comments about the man's choice to work out shirtless, showing her disapproval.

Once the video hit Instagram, it sparked controversy, with many slamming Allie for recording someone without consent and for her critical comments.

Despite the backlash, Allie seemed unfazed, brushing off her critics as just 'keyboard warriors'.

That's when Joey Swoll, a prominent fitness influencer, stepped in with his own video.

Joey pointed out that while Allie might prefer to work out where shirts are required, the gym where the incident occurred, Absolute Recomp in Texas, doesn't have a rule like that.

He stated, "Listen, I get it, you want to train at a gym where everyone keeps their shirt on – fine, but this gym isn't one of them."

"I called Absolute Recomp in Texas and their rules say you can train with your shirt off, and you signed up there."

Joey Swoll noted that the gym's rules allowed for shirtless training, a policy Allie had accepted upon joining.

Joey rebuked Allie for violating privacy, stressing how wrong it is to record someone for social media without permission.

He clearly stated, "Therefore you need to follow the rules, including the rule that says you don't film people without their consent to post on social media – and people tried to tell you this! Yet you arrogantly posted your response when they defended this man, and you didn't listen."

As a result, the gym canceled Allie Singer's membership due to her conduct.

Joey Swoll ended his remarks with a clear directive:

"Your membership has been canceled, you need to do better. Mind your own business."
