Celebrity chef and restaurateur Guy Fieri raised 22 million dollars to help restaurant workers. But, he has more plans and they involve a famed actor.

Food Network star's first goal was to raise money to help people in the industry who're struggling during the pandemic. He created Restaurant Employee Relief Fund with National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.

The charity has had help from Pepsi, Coke and Uber Eats. At the time he stated:

"My entire career has been in the restaurant business."

"From bussing tables to flambe captain to dishwasher to chef… I have done it all. I've also spent the better part of the last 15 years traveling this great country meeting other folks who've dedicated their lives to this business and let me tell you something, they are the hardest working, most real-deal workers you've ever met… the heartbeats of their communities."

He managed to give 500 USD to over 40,000 workers and got an idea that will pour more money to those who are suffering.

Nacho Average Showdown was a competition in which Guy and Bill and their sons Hunter Fieri and Homer Murray fought to raise more money for restaurant workers.

It went live on the Internet and to secure star power it was judged and officiated by legendary Shaquille O'Neal and some other exciting guests.

It went live on Food Network's Facebook page, and Fieri encouraged everyone to order from small businesses.

The cooking event lasted for an hour. During that time it raised 11K from 10K viewers. Terry Crews joined, and the event was full of laughter and sneaky comments.

It was a tough call for the judge, but Fieri and his son Hunter eventually beat Murray and his son Homer. Here's the video, and we hope they do a rematch soon since we need more good deeds!
