A gang will collectively spend 51 years in prison after they raped three vulnerable 13-year-old girls. The crimes happened in Staffordshire.
Seven men were found guilty of rape, child abduction, and other sexual offenses.
The gang committed the crimes between May and September 2018, and they were arrested in Staffordshire on December 19.
The assaults happened in Burton-upon-Trent.

David Korosi, 28, from Burton-upon-Trent, Renato Nyari, 19, from Liverpool, Adrian Rihard Demeter, 22, Mate Maka, 18, from Stoke-upon-Trent, from Burton-upon-Trent, Maxim Hanko, 18, from Liverpool, Dominik Beri, 18, from Burton-upon-Trent, and Jeno Pierre Maka, 21, from Stoke-on-Trent were all put in jail.
The officers investigating the crimes and the Child Protection and Exploitation Team were satisfied with the sentences the gang members got. They also congratulated the girls for coming forward with the news of the assaults they suffered at the hands of these men.

The sentences the men got ranged between 3 and 14 years. They were also friends before they ganged up and committed the crimes.
Korosi got a 14-year jail sentence, the longest among the group members. He was found guilty of raping a girl aged between 13 and 15 and was also found guilty of two counts of sexual assault on a child.

Hanko got nine years in prison, and Demester was sentenced to seven and a half years.

Nyari was sentenced to seven years in prison after he was found guilty of child abduction. Beri got a sentence of six years in prison.

Two brothers, Jeno Pierre and Mate Maka were given four and three and a half years in prison, respectively.

Darren Mattocks, who works with Child Protection and Exploitation Team, said that they were focused on getting justice for the girls and that they were also offering them support. He also urged anyone who had been abused similarly to come forward:
"We will listen to you, and you and your families will be supported."

Jeno Pierre was found guilty of committing two counts of causing a girl of 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity.
His brother Mate Maka was found guilty of sexual activity with a child, and his three-and-a-half-year sentence was the shortest among the group members.
