The grieving mom of a 2-year-old girl who died in September 2018 believes she saw her daughter visiting her own grave in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Saundra Gonzalez lost her daughter Faviola Rodriguez while her boyfriend at the time was watching the child.
Now buried at Masonic Cemetery, her mom believes she saw Faviola looking at her own tombstone on surveillance footage.

Ever since she buried her daughter, Saundra has had problems with people stealing items from her grave, such as missing toys and personal belongings. So she asked workers at the cemetery to be on the lookout.
Another family had similar issues and invested in a camera to place on their son's headstone after his murderer. He was still free and had allegedly vandalized the gravesite.
The camera caught a little child walking around the graveyard in the middle of the night.

Believing the young girl to be lost and alone, the family took the footage straight to the cemetery owners.
Right away, one worker said, as per WOAI: "We know that little girl," and walked the family to her grave.
The next day, the family returned to the graveyard, where Saundra and her grandmother happened to be at Faviola's grave.
They then showed them what their camera had captured. The grieving mom then burst into tears and said, "I know that is my daughter."

Saundra wrote an emotional post on Facebook. She said: "There is not one ounce of doubt in my heart because it looks like her head to toe, from her hair to her clothes and chanclas,"
Faviola was found dead under suspicious circumstances two years ago. She was in the care of her mom's boyfriend, Lalo Anthony Castrillo.
Medical staff said the child had bruising on her head, face and ribs, then Castillo was arrested on child abuse charges.

However, a year later, he was released on bond and he's still out of prison.
A final image captured by the camera in Masonic Cemetery seems to show the little child walking away with a tall man.
The mother believes the image shows her little girl leading the other family's deceased son to heaven.
"I think she was there to take him to heaven," she explained. "They both have such a tragic story of things that happened to them and… both of them still haven't got any justice. So, I think she was definitely there to comfort him and take him to heaven."
