The girlfriend of lovesick Romeo jailed for crossing the Irish Sea on a Jet Ski just to see her says she wants to marry him.
Dale McLaughlan, 28, made the 25-mile journey from Scotland to the Isle of Man to visit his girlfriend Jessica Radcliffe, 30.
Despite never having ridden a water scooter before and not being able to swim, Dale made the voyage.
He spent four and a half hours at sea in desperate need to see Jessica.

While he may have made Jessica swoon, his romantic gesture landed him in jail for four weeks for breaking COVID-19 restrictions.
Though he isn't out yet, Jessica has revealed she would instantly accept a proposal if he popped the question.
She said she received messages of support from 'all over the world' following her boyfriend's daring escapade. Some have even urged her to marry him.
She explained:
"I've had messages from all over the world."
"People from Italy have sent pictures of jet skis saying, 'this is for your boyfriend, showing our support.'"
"People from Ireland have said, 'what he did is heroic. You should marry that man.'"
"If he asks me, I'll say yes. It's definitely a story to tell our grandkids."
Speaking to Daily Mail earlier, Jessica said:
"He is the best, and everyone is right behind him, especially me."
"My hero. What man crosses the sea for a girl unless he was so besotted and completely in love?"
"I just want them to release him from prison. At least let him stay over here. He is locked up for 14 days, even though he is COVID-free. I'm sure it will calm down."
"I had a man cross the Irish Sea for me on a jet ski. I don't [think] one other woman can say that. He must really love me. My little legend."

According to court documents, Dale had expected the journey to take him 40 minutes. But it ended up taking him four-and-a-half hours across the sea.
Under the Isle of Man's current laws, the only non-residents allowed to enter are those with special permission.
Dale previously had a permit to work as a roofer on the island in September.
After isolating for 14 days, he met Jessica for the first time on a night out.
However, when he applied to return to the region for the second time, officials declined his application.
That prompted the daring voyage.
Prosecutors said Dale bought the Jet Ski and set off on the journey of around 25 miles (40km). When he arrived in Ramsey, he walked another 15 miles (25km) to his girlfriend's home in Douglas.
Jessica said she was unaware he had traveled by Jet Ski from the Isle of Whithorn until police knocked on her door two days after he arrived.
Meanwhile, his attorney said Dale suffered from depression and hadn't been coping well without seeing his girlfriend.
