Israeli actress and model Gal Gadot shot to fame after she won the Miss Israel crown back in 2004. She was 18 years old at the time.

During the Israel-Palestine crisis in 2021, Gadot called for peace between the two countries. However, she got criticized for showing support towards Israel while referring to Palestinians as "neighbors" instead of mentioning them by name. This led to many people considering her a Zionist.
