Talk about taking pettiness to the next level! A woman was so enraged with the passenger in front of her that she stuck a chewing gum into her long hair. But it didn't stop there.

Tension started to build between two female passengers on an airplane after one deliberately tried to block the TV view with her hair. A woman behind her decided to take matters into her own hands.

The stewardess didn't want to get involved in this frivolous fight though it's clear in the video that she saw most of it.

The incident didn't stop with gum in hair

In the viral video, which already has over 97 million views, you can see a woman putting chewing gum into the woman's long, blonde hair. She then took out nail clippers and cut pieces of the hair off before sticking a lollipop to it and dunking the hair ends in a coffee mug.

Points for the originality, though it's always better (and safer) to use words than to sink this low.

The video continues as two ladies, if we may call them that, continue their silent yet powerful competition.

TikTok users are divided

Despite that the passenger who used chewing gum was clearly out of line, many Internet users sided with her. One TikTok user said:

"At first, I was with the lady in the front, but after she kept throwing her hair back, I feel like she got what she deserved."

It's rather clear that the blonde woman didn't care about fellow travelers. She even did her best to make matters worse.

As many social media users pointed out, the two women might be friends since they are wearing matching hats. Also, many concluded that anyone would react if someone were touching their hair.

"You would absolutely know someone is touching your hair."

Was is it all for attention? Yes, that's another theory circling the web, as one of the TikTokers said:

"Come on that's a wig! Totally staged! You think after she flipped it she didn't feel all that stuff in her hair!"
