From time to time, most of us end up at parties where alcohol runs free. But have you ever wondered what you look like after you've had a few glasses of wine?
While things can get a bit fuzzy, a Brazilian photographer has found a way to conserve and catalog the merrymaking effects of the alcoholic beverage.
In one of his latest projects, 3 Glasses Later, Marcos Alberti invited his friends to his studio for happy hour.
He then snapped their portraits just as they arrived, where their faces still reflected 'the fatigue after working all day long.'
After serving them wine, Marcos then captured how their moods and mannerisms shifted after one, two, and three glasses of wine.
As you can see, with every glass, Alberti's guests look a little happier, a little friendlier, and of course, let their guards down.

In the first photos, the guests' eyes are heavy and weighted with exhaustion from the day. Some are even forcing a smile when they don't really feel like it.
In the second photo, after the first glass of wine, their facial expression changes. Some finally show some teeth in their smile.
You can also tell that the way they hold themselves is different than in the first photo. They're starting to loosen up a bit.
By the third photo, the guests' restraints have faded. And their hair seems to be a little out of place. They're also smiling a lot wider and are becoming friendlier.
The fourth photo tells it all.
After three glasses of wine, Marcos's guests are completely different! They are also a little more photogenic and in much happier moods.

Marcos explained that most of the people he shot weren't used to being in front of the camera. So, they are much more comfortable in the last photo.
In an interview, he said:
"I wanted to show the good side of drinking. I always see on [the] Internet bad things about alcohol. But I think that every story has 2 sides."
"With friends, in a good and happy environment, and with moderation, wine could be good stuff. [Wine] brings people together."
