Friends’ Is Leaving Netflix And Viewers Are Absolutely Devastated

Anyone who grew up in the 90s or was old enough to understand comedy must have watched ‘Friends.’ Many have followed and loved the show to bits. I certainly did and still do. That’s why the latest 411 on the block has me and tons of other fans of the sitcom furious. Word has it that on the 1st of January, our favorite show will no longer be on Netflix. WTF! It has been on Netflix for four years, and someone somewhere has decided to torture us by removing it from there.

Friends will leave Netflix and be moved to Warner Media, a streaming service of AT&T. That doesn’t make things any better. We want our Friends, right where it’s always been. What’s the harm in leaving it on Netflix for more years? We’ll be more than happy to stay subscribed to the digital streaming service if we are able to watch the old sitcoms that we grew to love. They’re a few shows that make Netflix worth subscribing to, and the ‘Friends’ sitcom is one of them.

We’ve grown with the six characters on the show. They’re like family to us. A few weeks isn’t enough time to say goodbye to them after all the times they’ve made us laugh. Their comical style is simply out of this world. From the perfect acting to the catchy theme song, man this show rocks!

I know that it’s been over 20 years since the show was made, and those playing the parts of our beloved characters have moved on with their lives, but no amount of time will ever take the magic from the show. No matter how many times I watch it, it’ll always be new and funny to me. For anyone thinking of doing a remake of it, don’t even think about it. We have enough flopped remakes of other classics on our hands as it is.

I’m not the only one burning with anger. Other fans of the hilarious sitcom have taken to social media to pour out their frustrations. Some are threatening to stop paying for the service, others are cursing it, while others think removing the sitcom is a big mistake. All of these are true, and I’m adding mine; Is it worth it to lose subscribers by getting rid of such a great show? There has to be something you can do to keep it for us, your loyal subscribers.

It’s time to prepare for whatever lies ahead. If you still be a Netflix subscriber after the removal, we’re glad you are satisfied with their services, but I guess a large number of us have no choice but to ditch the service and subscribe to Warner Media. It’s time to look at things from a positive angle. At least the show isn’t being removed completely from everywhere forever. We can still gain access to it for as long as we want. Those of you born after the 90s and early 2000s will never understand what all the fuss is about, but hey, you missed a great show.
