Merseyside Police detained a man and a woman accused of having sex in front of hundreds gathered in Liverpool's center.

Joe Firby, from Gateshead in the North East, and Kelly Cousins, of Merton Road, Bootle, were identified by Merseyside Police after an alleged outraging public indecency.

23-year-old Firby will face Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, September 20. The same date is reserved for the 35-year-old woman.

Cousins' bail states that she cannot enter Liverpool City Center.

Several videos started circulating on August 2, showing the entrance of Einstein Bier Haus and a couple in front of it getting busy, despite the people. As they did not stop, the crowd grew, and the police asked people not to share the video and contact them with any information.

But, the story does not end in front of the bar. The couple allegedly performed sexual acts at Bold Street and on a Merseyrail train.

Liverpool Mayor Joanne Anderson told the press:

"I am extremely shocked and concerned at videos circulating showing acts of indecent exposure and sexual activity in our city. This isn't amusing – it's disturbing, damaging, and an illegal act."

Acts of indecent behavior in public places in Liverpool is simply unacceptable and will not be tolerated. I have spoken with Merseyside Police and requested immediate and appropriate action."

Previous reports stated that Kelly was an OnlyFans model with a significant Instagram following.
