On Veterans Day we honor those who have served our country in the U.S Armed Forces. This Sunday, 11th of November, many restaurants across the country are offering veterans a free meal. Veteran's Day is a chance for the nation to show its appreciation to those who have defended its liberties. And dozens of restaurants are doing so by offering free food to veterans and active-duty military this Veterans Day. Below is a list of some of the many restaurants offering free meals.

Texas Roadhouse

Texas Roadhouse, the steakhouse chain is offering FREE lunch to active, former, or retired military members this Sunday 11th November from 11 am-2 pm. Not everything on the menu is free, but you are free to choose for a selection of 10 dishes, including steak, chicken, or pork.

"All veteran and active-duty military personnel will receive a free meal as our small way to say to honor the bravery and commitment these men and women have shown to our country."

Chipotle

For the entire day, open until close this Sunday for Veterans Day, Chipotle is kindly offering a get two, pay for one deal for all active duty, retired, reserves, national guard, and military spouses.

Don't forget to bring a valid ID. The offer is available on burritos, bowls and taco orders.

White Castle

White Castle is offering a free Combo Meal at participating restaurants for Veterans and active military. There is a choice of six combos or any breakfast combo on Sunday 11th and also on Monday 12th. Please provide your military ID.

Cracker Barrel

By way of saying thank you to the men and women who served our country, Cracker Barrel is giving Veterans a free slice of delicious Double chocolate fudge Coca-Cola cake or a crafted coffee beverage. The choice is yours.

Applebee's Grill & Bar

Applebee's announced on Instagram, "It's an honor to serve those who serve our country. On Veterans Day, this Sunday, Nov. 11th, we're serving free meals to all veterans and active duty military."

Buffalo Wild Wings

On Veterans day Buffalo Wild Wings is offering all active and retired armed service members free small wings and fries. Again, all that's needed is your ID.

Chuck E. Cheese

Available at participating locations, Chuck E. Cheese is offering all active duty, National Guard, retired military and Veterans a personal one-topping pizza for free.

Denny's

Start your day right with breakfast from Denny's, all active and inactive military personnel can get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam from 5 am until noon. This free offer is for anyone with a military ID or DD 214.

Freddy's Steakburgers

This Veterans Day, Freddy's is giving to all veterans and active duty military a card for a free combo meal. The fantastic thing also, this card is valid until 11/30/18, so you can treat yourself to one of their other deals on Veterans day and use the card to get a free meal at Freddy's later in the month.

O'Charley's

O'Charley's is offering a free entree valued at $9.99 this Sunday 11th to all veterans and active duty military personnel. This offer is also available on Monday 12th. Something to remember, O'Charley's offers a 10% discount to members of the military all year round!

Sheetz

Sheetz is giving away free six-inch turkey subs and a regular size drink to all veterans and active duty military. On top of that, they can also get a free car wash!! Just bring your military ID to redeem this great deal.
