A female teacher admitted to being in a long-term relationship with a 13-year-old boy. After Marka Bodine was found guilty of the crime and convicted, her sentence was suspended because she was about to have a baby.

The boy was her student, and when she was taken to court, she said she was guilty of having a sexual relationship with him. After serving a 60-day sentence, she will remain on probation for ten years.

She was a teacher for the Tomball Independent School District. Due to the nature of her crimes, she has been forced to register as a sex offender.

The sentence was postponed because she had just had a baby. According to the authorities, she did not get the child from her relationship with the student.

During the case, the prosecution had pushed for a 20-40 year sentence.

Court records indicated that Bodine had told the principal of Tomball Intermediate School that a former student was harassing her. An investigation into the matter resulted in the illegal sexual affair being discovered.

The female teacher told the principal that the boy had been 13 at the time. He was making threats about harming himself and said he had access to her photos.

Investigators searched Bodine's and the boy's phones and saw several photos and messages they exchanged. Some of the images were sexual.

The child notified the authorities about Bodine befriending him as he played an online video game. That was when she started to text him.

Once he was 13 years old, they began sharing explicit images. They also started to have sex.

The relationship went on for three years. At some point, the woman moved into his complex, and they regularly had sex in her classroom and her car.

She had just gotten divorced.

Eventually, Bodine admitted that she had been sexually involved with the former student. She also admitted that they had shared explicit pictures and videos.

Following the shocking admission, she was held for sexually abusing a child.
