Despite having his fiance, Megan Fox, cheering, Machine Gun Kelly's NBA Celebrity All-Star performance was not impressive.
The rapper turned actor, real name Colson Baker, was on Team Walton alongside Migos' Quavo and country singer Jimmy Allen. He also had Fox and his daughter Cassie in his corner, but we are reasonably confident that MGK won't become a pro basketball player.
MGK played in his hometown, Cleveland, Ohio, but he kept missing shot after shot, which amused the social media users.
The jokes were writing themselves, as one tweet said:
"Megan Fox, will you give me a chance if I beat your man 1v1?"
Another said:
"Machine Gun Kelly putting up Tony Snell numbers in the Celebrity All-Star Game. Love to see it."
The jokes pretty soon took over Twitter:
"MGK hoops like a 2K MyPlayer that spent all of their VC on tattoos."
This was shady:
"Footage of Eminem's Son lacking any form of talent in yet ANOTHER field."
The tweet sparked more disagreements among Eminem and MGK's fans, so it worked on several levels.
Machine Gun Kelly's team won 65-51 over the opposing Team Nique despite his misses. The Team Nique featured an All-Star lineup, including rapper Jack Harlow, NFL star Myles Garrett, and comedian Tiffany Haddish.
MGK and Megan Fox were recently guests at the NHL All-Star game in Las Vegas. As a performer, he did a much better job than in Ohio.
