Fans are upset with Lizzo for sharing a twerking video on Instagram, especially with an ongoing sexual harassment case in the background. Her twerking video on September 10 caused quite a stir. Considering the legal issues, some people question the timing of these posts.
The singer, known as Melissa Viviane Jefferson but also called 'About Damn Time,' is now embroiled in a serious controversy.

Recently, she was sued by someone who claimed she placed a dancer in an uncomfortable situation involving a naked performer at a strip club.
Furthermore, three former dancers have come forward with additional allegations. Shockingly, Lizzo, known for promoting body positivity, allegedly criticized a performer for gaining weight and reportedly fired an individual for secretly recording a meeting.
This lawsuit is a significant setback for Lizzo, involving accusations of sexual harassment, fostering an uncomfortable work environment, false imprisonment, and impacting her financial prospects.
These troubling allegations have raised doubts about whether her public persona aligns with her private actions.

In a subsequent statement, Lizzo has refuted the accusations, asserting that the lawsuit is based on 'sensationalized stories [that] are coming from former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behaviour on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional'.
Lizzo's legal team plans to countersue the three dancers, and their lawyer is describing this as an attempt to intimidate them.
Lizzo's lawyer, Marty Singer, conveyed to People: "Lizzo intends to sue for malicious prosecution after she prevails and these specious claims are dismissed."
From the perspective of the dancers, their lawyer, Rob Zambrano, expressed to Page Six: "Lizzo's threat to countersue for malicious prosecution is an insidious attempt at intimidation and delivers a chilling effect to all harassment victims in the workplace."
"The scare tactics, bullying and victim shaming coming from Lizzo's team is exactly the behavior employees face in the entertainment industry who feel they have no choice but to 'suck it up' for access and success."
Despite the drama, Lizzo continues to stay active on social media. However, her most recent Instagram post has elicited a variety of emotions from her fans.
So, on Sunday, September 10th, she went ahead and shared a video of herself dancing in a blue floral bikini.
The song she picked to accompany her moves was Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's latest hit, 'Bongos.' Her choice of content and timing has sparked conversations among her followers.
"My back sound like a bongoooooooo," Lizzo shared in the caption.
However, many fans were not impressed with the post.
"Exactly why I'm unfollowing her now as we speak. So unnecessary," one follower expressed in the comments.

A second wrote: "Really wish you would address what's going on with some seriousness. We all looked up to you and need you to show us that your words are true."
"Still waiting on that apology." a third said, while another shared: "You've gone too far Lizzo."
Meanwhile, another person on the opposing side commented: "People commenting negatively are so weird. If you don't like her why do you follow?"
