Falcon, Gladiators Legend, Dies At 59

At the age of 59, Falcon, a popular figure from the 90s television series "Gladiators," has passed away.

Bernadette Hunt, whose real name is the ITV star, had received a cancer diagnosis earlier.

From 1993 onwards, she appeared in the show starting with its second series and continued until the original version ended.

Rick Jango, the partner of Bernadette's sister, shared the news in a public Facebook group. He mentioned that she was one of the kindest individuals he had ever met in his life.

He wrote while sharing a photo of the athlete and performer: "It is with great sadness that I have to tell you of my partner's younger sister Bernadette Hunt."

"Most people will remember her as Falcon From the hit TV Show Gladiators."

He continued: "I had the privilege to be in her company a few times and I have to say she was one of the most loveliest people I have ever met."

"She never had a bad word to say about anyone, indeed she was always known as the nicest Gladiator always stopping to speak and sign autographs for anyone."

"She had been battling cancer for a number of years until sadly she lost he [sic] fight. RIP Bernie."

Among those who paid tribute was Bernadette's sister herself, who wrote: "My beautiful sister was the best kind of human being on this earth."

Vogue, another Gladiator who was known as Suzanne Cox, shared a crying emoji and wrote: "I found out a few days ago."

Yet another personal tribute stated: "I wouldn't be the person I am today if it hadn't been for Bernie."

"It was she who convinced me to do my training to become an aerobic instructor in her days before Gladiators and had the pleasure of working with her at Basingstoke Sports Centre."

"She was the loveliest of ladies, a beautiful soul with the biggest heart and smile."

"My thoughts are with her family."

Falcon was recognized for her amiable demeanor as one of the Gladiators on the show. She frequently took the time to congratulate or commiserate with her opponent after events.

She appeared in the main show, and also worked on International Gladiators. Additionally, she served as a reserve on The Ashes 2, a competition that involved Gladiators from Australia and the UK competing against each other.

Following her time on TV, she chose not to return to the limelight and worked as a fitness instructor in Basingstoke.

Adam and Angel were her two children.
