Former porn star Zoe Parker died in her sleep at 24.
The former adult actress had moved back to Texas last year after quitting the industry to be closer to her family.
She had also recently got engaged and was hoping to start a new life.
Announcing their engagement, Zoe had described her fiancé as 'the true love of her life, her savior, her everything.'
According to a GoFundMe page set up by her fiancé Jay Campbell, Zoe died in her sleep.
The family, however, didn't disclose the cause of Zoe's death.
Campbell wrote:
"We are sad to report that Zoe Parker passed away in her sleep. She was only 24 years old."
Jay went on to share a little bit about his late fiancé:
"After leaving the adult industry, Zoe Parker moved back home to Texas, near her family, to start a new life."
"She had started doing great and recently announced her engagement. And by all accounts, [Zoe] seemed truly happy for the first time in her life."
Meanwhile, Zoe's sudden death has shocked her family and friends, with one insider telling news outlets:
"I spoke to Zoe Parker just last night. I still can't even believe she's gone."
"It doesn't even seem possible. She was so happy with her new life back in Texas."
"As you can imagine, her fiancé is utterly devastated. Zoe loved him so much."
Tributes have begun to flow in for the 24-year-old.
Adult film star Rebel Lynn took to Twitter to share her sadness after the loss.
She said:
"Rest In Peace. I loved that you weren't afraid of being exactly who you were."
"You had such an impact on those around you, such a light in life, I will miss you so much."
Adult Performers Guild also shared their tribute.
They wrote:
"Heartbroken to hear of the passing of Zoe Parker. We're sending our strength and love to her family, loved ones, and fans."
Zoe began her career in the porn industry in 2014 with scenes for the production companies Bang Bros and Desperate Pleasures.
In 2016, she moved to LA to pursue adult film acting full time, according to Adult Video News.
She was nominated for an Adult Video News award in 2017 for Best Virtual Reality Sex Scene.
According to Zoe's profile on the Internet Adult Film Database, she appeared in more than 120 scenes from 2014 until 2020.
Her career spanned for five years.
