Eva Evans, a TikTok influencer, gained fame as the director and lead actress in the Amazon Prime TV series "Club Rat."

She boasted a robust Instagram presence, amassing nearly 30,000 followers.

Recently, her sister revealed that the promising young star has passed away at the age of 29.

"Club Rat," a project Eva helped create, premiered as a five-episode series on Amazon Prime Video in 2023.

Eva was not only a co-writer of the series but also took on the directorial role.

In the series, she portrayed an influencer who navigates the complex world of dating in New York City.

In the series, her character is unexpectedly thrown back into the dating scene when a video capturing her breakup becomes an internet sensation.

In real life, Eva shared her experiences openly on social media, including a video discussing her actual breakup in early March after nearly two years in a relationship.

Throughout her career, Evans collaborated with high-profile brands like Dior, Gucci, Nike, and Apple, and even worked alongside celebrities such as Miley Cyrus.

Just four days prior to her passing, Eva updated her Instagram with a video of herself navigating the NYC subway.

On April 21, Eva's sister Lila shared the heartbreaking news of her death on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of Eva.

"Please share this post so that it reaches everyone it needs to," Lila writes.

"Yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died. after 24 hours, I still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so I know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be."

She adds: "We will be holding a celebration of Eva this coming Tuesday, 4/23, in the evening in lower Manhattan. Please DM me so I can get a headcount and will share the details."

"I wish I had Eva here now to refer to because she would have better words and know how to say what I don't," Lila continues.

"I am keeping this brief, so we can plan for the next few days, but you'll be hearing a lot more from me on how much Eva means to me and just how different the world will be without her."

She then concludes her caption: "All my love, Lila."

Heather Evans, the mother of the sisters, shared Lila's post on her own social media.

Tributes for Evans have started to flood in, including a repost of Lila's announcement by Julia Fox on her Instagram Stories.

She pens: "I can't believe this. RIP @ITSEVAEVANS I'm going to miss you so much. Thank you for sharing so much of your light with us."

"Rest in peace, angel Eva, you were always kind to me when others couldn't be bothered. Will never forget that kindness," The Hills star Lo Bosworth commented under Evans' last Instagram post.

According to E! News, Eva is survived by her sisters Lila, Zoe, and Sofi, along with their mother, Heather.

Eva's father, artist Matt Baumgardner, passed away in 2018 when he was 63 years old.The cause of Eva's death has not yet been disclosed.
