Eminem Apologises To Rihanna In New Album Track

Eminem is trying to make peace with Rihanna after leaked lyrics made headlines in late 2019.

Eminem's latest album, Music to Be Murdered By — Side B, is a continuation of his surprise album in January, titled Music to Be Murdered By.

The new record contains collaborations with DJ Premier, Ty Dolla $ign and Sly Pyper, and 16 new tracks. One of them is for Rihanna, and it's called Zeus.

Rihanna must've loved how Eminem lies

Riri, 32, and Eminem, 48, worked together in 2010. 2012, 2013, and 2014. Their single Love The Way You Lie was one of the most played in 2010.

Just a year before their significant collaboration, Eminem was recording the 2009 album, Relapse. In November 2019, an unused lyrics stated:

"Of course, I side with Chris Brown. I'd beat a bitch down too."

Let's remember that Brown beat up his then-girlfriend, Fenty beauty, and the two ended up in court. Her visible bruises meant nothing to Eminem at the time. The social media users were quick to criticize the Lose Yourself rapper for seemingly "glorifying abuse."

But, this wasn't the first time Eminem acted like an abusive a**hole. In his 2000 song Kim, he raps about murdering his ex-wife Kim Scott Mathers and putting her in his trunk.

Hopefully, as the father of a young woman, he learned his lesson.

Brown, 30, served almost five years of probation after assaulting the famous singer in his car, before the Grammys in February 2009. The former couple briefly rekindled their romance in 2012 before ending it in 2013.

Hopefully, for good.

Making Amends

In his new song, Zeus, Eminem raps:

"But, me, long as I re-promise to be honest

And wholeheartedly, apologies, Rihanna,

For that song that leaked, I'm sorry, Ri

It wasn't meant to cause you grief. Regardless, it was wrong of me."

Despite the leaked lyrics, Eminem's rep stated he and Rihanna actually had a good relationship and that the rapper rewrote the song.

His spokesperson Dennis Dennehy said: "This is a leak of something that's over 10 years old. After Eminem recorded it, he scrapped it and rewrote it. Obviously, he and Rihanna have a great relationship."

Sure, that's why he had to apologize for his stupidity 10 years later. Because they have a great relationship...

Announcing the new record Music To Be Murdered By - Side B, Eminem wrote on Instagram: "Uncle Alfred heard you screaming for more... enjoy Side B."

On this record, he had something to say about other famous musicians. He calls out Tekashi and Snoop Dog, in the same song, Zeus.

The lyrics say:

"She says I am trash, but she listens to Tekashi."

Fair enough, but what about Snoop?

"As far as squashing beef, I'm used to people knocking me

But just not in my camp

And diplomatic as I'm tryin' to be

Last thing I need is Snoop doggin' me.

Man, Dogg, you was like a damn god to me

Man, not really, I had dog backwards."

What do you think? Should Riri let Eminem sweat a bit more? Or, should she take the usual highroad?
