Ellen DeGeneres can't seem to stay out of trouble.
The latest incident comes after many celebrities took to social media to have their say in the verdict against Derek Chauvin.

This time around, all it took was one word to put the TV host back in the hot seat.
Accusations from The Ellen Show

Ellen DeGeneres's whole celebrity was that she's nice, a bit awkward, sarcastic and relatable. But, people who worked with and for her slowly started showing the world that the TV host is anything but.

It's not like DeGeneres woke up, and the world decided to be against her. There's been talk about her problematic behavior for years now. Last year, things simply escalated, and people wanted to "cancel" Ellen.
It was not a secret that Ellen was trouble. But, for whatever reason, people overlooked her missteps even on the show.
Ellen's Incidents With Celebrities

To prove that Ellen's always been problematic, check out her reaction to Sofia Vergara's accent.
While it may seem awkward and even funny for some, just put yourself in Sofia's shoes. Yet, most of us brushed off this incident. Perhaps we shouldn't have.
It didn't end there. Ellen kept mocking Vergara's accent on her Twitter. In fact, she continued mocking and showing the world that she's not that cool hostess of a sweet talk show for ages.
Some were already over Ellen:
Other celebrities experienced similar levels of abuse, but it was even worse when she insulted a fan.
A Fan's Gift Gets A Whole Segment

Ellen got a gift, a drawing of her wife Portia De Rossi and her, from a fan. Sweet, right?
Well, it was, but instead of saying, "thank you" and moving on, Ellen mocked it on her show. Check it out. It was brutal:
Why even make a segment about the bad gifts you got? Who does that?
The Decline In Popularity

Last year, Ellen finally had to face backlash. People were mad, and rightfully so.
There are many things that her former employees experienced, and finally, the hostess had to issue an apology.
That wasn't enough, since the show was losing viewers. A staff member said:
"We're trying to be a content house, but we have no content. For the first time, everyone was starting to ask us, 'If you have an idea, tell us because we will listen. If you have an idea for a celeb, even if they're not A-list or famous, we'll take anyone who will bring us numbers and eyeballs'."
The Ellen Show lost over a million subscribers, all due to the scandals in the past years. So, what do you do when your whole professional career is about to collapse? You tweet.
Ellen's Tweet That Had Her "canceled" Again

After Derek Chauvin was found guilty of the murder of George Floyd, social media had a lot to say. But Ellen typed one word that made people remember why they're not watching her show anymore.
The responses were truthful, honest and showed no one is scared of Ellen or any other celebrity anymore. In this case, Ellen tweeted "Justice." But was it?
The responders don't seem to agree:
Not only did Ellen get a few lessons about justice, but she also proved that her star power means nothing. And to be quite frank, she's not the only celebrity who is self-centered, over-privileged, and simply someone who is not a good person.
