Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is not a typical, self-indulging celebrity. A former wrestling superstar turned one of the most profitable actors is full of surprises for his fans, always trying to do good.
The Rock also wants to inspire others to do more while leading by example. One of his latest surprises happened in late November when he gave his custom-made truck to a Navy veteran from Culver City.

It all started when he gifted his fans a free screening of his latest movie, Red Notice.
He wanted to get to know more about his fans and gift one of them. The Rock said:
"My original idea was to give away the Porsche Taycan that I drive in the movie, Red Notice. So we reached out to Porsche, but they said no."

Choosing the lucky Oscar Rodriguez was not by accident. The Rock did his homework about this hardworking man, explaining:
"I gathered as much information as I could about everyone in the audience and ultimately, Oscar's story moved me. Takes care of his 75 year old mom. Personal trainer. Leader at his church. Provides support and meals for women victimized by domestic violence. Proud & humble Navy veteran. Kind human being."
The actor and wrestling star hopes to inspire others:
"I just hope and pray that this will inspire other people, will lift other people up."
Rodriguez was speechless, crying happy tears, and simply saying:
"I'm just speechless. I'm so glad to meet you, I feel so encouraged right now, so uplifted. I'm encouraged by your motivation."
Johnson assured Oscar that he does a lot of good for others and wrote on Instagram:
"Oscar said it right, just before he drove away ~ it's just love. That's all it is, brother. Just love."

You can hear Oscar saying:
"And yeah, let's do it. Let's change the world, one person, at a time."
Always playful, the Rock ended the emotional video saying that he now has to figure out how to get home since he gave away his truck.
It is the season of giving, and this one celebrity is always surprising us with his generosity and kindness.
