Drunk Tourist Gets Lost On Horse In Mexican Jungle, Doesn’t Know How She Got There

Liz Hicks, from the States, became an Internet celebrity since her TikTok video went viral. The woman got drunk, lost, and ended up, God knows where, while staying in Mexico.

Hicks appeared scared, as she told her followers that she's "currently in the jungle in Mexico somewhere." She wasn't able to ask for help because she doesn't know any Spanish, so she did the next best thing. She filmed and published her video on the popular social media platform.

She started the video by saying:

"Hi TikTok, I'm currently in the jungle in Mexico somewhere."

She continued:

"I don't speak Spanish, and I'm on a horse, and I got drunk and I don't know how I got here, and no one around me speaks my language, so they don't know what I'm saying."

That's what happens when you drink too much on vacation. The woman added:

"I don't know where I'm going, I just know I'm on a horse."

Going with the flow

In her first video, a 21-year-old woman was following a horse with two young children. Since they didn't speak any English, she decided to part from the group. Hicks stated in the second video that she's on a horse, and just going wherever it takes her.

The clips were filmed near Yelapa, which is next to a beach town in Cabo Corrientes, in the Mexican state of Jalisco.

Despite the initial fear, the young woman made it to the hotel "alive and well." But, in all fairness, she was lucky since getting lost in a foreign country doesn't sound like something you should practice.

The following day she made another video, telling her TikTok followers what happened:

"I'm alive, and well, I'm back at my hotel. The issue with the horse was, I was lost, but the horse wasn't lost… the horse knew where it was going, apparently, because it took me to this waterfall."

"I just got separated from my group because my horse kept running faster than everybody else's horse, and I was in the front."

hi all I never expected my video to go viral, it was just for my friends to laugh at but I really appreciate everyone’s concern! All is good ily 🙂

Liz revealed that her phone had died, which is why she wasn't able to let everyone know that she got home safe sooner.

Despite getting lost while drunk on horseback, it seems the American tourist enjoyed her vacation in Mexico. She even got to explore the Amazon forest, despite her wishes, but she made it out unharmed.
