23-year-old Alexandra Kinova's pregnancy became worldwide news since it was indeed something extraordinary.

Alexandra and Antonim from Milovice, Czech Republic, expected their second child. They looked forward to welcoming a little brother or sister into their family.

It turned out there was more than one surprise waiting for the couple around the corner.

They started regular checkups to follow the development of the pregnancy.

After one month, they saw their baby on an ultrasound scan. The scan result showed that there was not just one baby but two. The couple expected twins.

They were delighted by the news. Since they had a record of twin births in the family, this could be expected.

However, the doctor redid the scan, and it turned out that they missed something the first time. The family was not about to welcome twins, but triplets!

The surprises did not end with this news. The next visit to the doctor revealed something no parents could have ever expected.

The doctor declared that Alexandra was pregnant with four babies. We can only imagine the shock when the realization hit. Their family of three would soon grow to a family of seven.

At the next checkup, Alexandra's stomach had continued to grow, and it turned out she carried more than four babies. The scan revealed a fifth head, yet another baby!

Alexandra cried after receiving the news, but the tears were from wonder and anticipation.

To naturally conceive five babies 'quintuplets' is very rare. It only happens once out of seven million times.

The couple's doctor invited 40 other medics and midwives to the delivery for such a unique event. Delivering quintuplets is not an easy task, and the hospital wanted to make sure they were prepared for this historical event.

The doctors had been unable to conclude the sex of all babies. It turned out Alexandra gave birth to four boys and one girl. All of them were healthy.

One of the doctors attending the delivery, Doctor Alena, clarified that it was the first quintuplets born in the Czech Republic since the recording started in 1949.

She added that on average, the birth of Quintuplets happens only once in every 480 years there!

The five babies and their mother are healthy and happy today. The boys are named Deniel, Michael, Alex, and Martin, and the girl is named Tereza.

It has been a few years since the remarkable pregnancy, but it is still equally captivating and magical. The couple must be hectic at the moment, raising and taking care of their six children. We wish them only the best!
