Disney Confirm Release Of 8 Marvel Movies By End Of 2022, Including Guardians Of The Galaxy And Black Panther 2

Are you still in the post-Avengers Endgame world? Disney revealed its upcoming movie slate for the next couple of years.

Marvel and the Disney studios have been secretive about revealing their future MCU movies slate. Of course, except for the Spider-Man: Far From Home, which is scheduled to be released on July 2.

Although the studio isn't ready to reveal t the exact movie titles yet, they've announced the release dates for their upcoming Marvel movie schedules through 2020.

In a press release, Cathleen Taff, Walt Disney Studios executive, shares her excitement:

"We're excited to put in place a robust and diverse slate that lays the foundation of our long-term strategy, bringing together a breadth of films from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Fox, Fox Searchlight, and Blue Sky Studios to create an extraordinary collection of cinematic experiences for audiences around the world."

"With a strong summer already in place, we are eager to carry that momentum forward over the coming years thanks to a creative wellspring of bold and imaginative stories coming from our world-class studios – including several new chapters of two revered franchises, Avatar and Star Wars."

The details aren't clear on which movies to expect, but many fans speculate on what might be in store in Marvel Phase 4.

The released dates for the upcoming 8 Marvel's films are:

We'll be watching two movies in 2020, one on May 1 and the other on November 6.

Three movies in 2021; one on February 12, the 2nd on May 7, and the 3rd on November 5.

Three movies in 2022; one on February 18, the 2nd on May 6, and the 3rd on July 29.

With these 8 movies, Marvel fans are expected to have much entertainment until 2022. Plus, there're other movies to expect following Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Some of the confirmed films in Marvel Phase 4 include the Black Window, which is likely to be released in early 2020, and the Black Panther 2. Other movies include Doctor Strange 2 and the Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3.

We also expect the first Asian-led Marvel film, Shang-Chi, and the Eternals. These moves add up to six, so there're two other movies Marvel's yet to announce.

Along with Marvel news, the movie slate includes the release dates for Avatar 2 in 2021, Avatar 3 in 2023, Avatar 4 in 2025, and Avatar 5 in 2027.
