Maitland Ward played Rachel McGuire on Boy Meets World from 1998 to the series' end in 2000. However, Ward, now 44, chose an unusual career path and replaced Disney movies with adult ones.

Talking to Us Weekly, the actress revealed how her costars feel about her work.

Every Boy's Crush

Rachel was very well received despite her late arrival on the hit Disney show in the 90s.

The sweet red-haired beauty with emerald eyes turned from every boy's crush to every man's fantasy when she went from Disney to adult entertainment.

In 2019, she published a book Rated X: How Porn Liberated Me From Hollywood.

The actress revealed that she did not want to be typecast, explaining:

"I wanted to break out and do something really different. And that's what I've been able to do with Deeper and doing it in porn."

As for her former costars, she always had the support of Will Friedle. However, he refuses to watch her in action.

Ward said that she talked to Will recently, saying:

"He [was] saying how supportive he was of me, but he won't watch anything."

She added that she was surprised as no one had anything bad to say about her acting.

"I actually ran into Will at a Comic-Con right after my first film was released. And he was like, 'OK, I don't want to see anything. I won't see anything that you do, but I'm happy [that] you're happy."

Ward is a recipient of several significant awards in adult entertainment, and she took to Instagram to celebrate her success, writing:

The actress who once starred in the hit comedy White Chicks now earns six figures monthly through her OnlyFans account.

She told Us Weekly:

"[Lockdown] was a time when we were alone and stressed, and that's a time when you need to connect and get off."

"I feel very fortunate because I get six figures a month from OnlyFans and continually too."

Additionally, Ward praised the adult industry:

"Porn is really giving me back my career. It's allowing me to act in things I want to act in."

"I'm doing more acting than I've ever done and making more money, and I'm feeling more powerful than I ever have done in my life."

Ward stated that would be fun, adding:

"I hear a lot of talk from fans that want, like, a total reunion special, like, a separate [one] from [the spinoff] Girl Meets World. That's just all the old cast."
