The former Bond girl and Love Actually star Denise Richard faced backlash after announcing a collaboration with her daughter on the adult platform OnlyFans.
A week after her 18-year-old daughter Sami Sheen launched her OnlyFans profile, Richard followed.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star announced on her Instagram that she is joining the platform, writing:
"Ready…here we go. #onlyfans. Link in bio."
The actress wrote on the subscription website:
"Hey, loves, so I'm trying to figure this site out. It's all new to me. I'm overwhelmed and grateful for all the love and support! I really enjoy connecting with you. It may take me a couple of days to really grasp using this platform and answering all my messages, but I will get back to each of you! I will also be taking photos to share on the wall for free with some PPVs over the next couple of days. It is ONLY ME on here, so I'd love some suggestions! PS; I'd also like to know what time is best to come on and not miss you… also, going to try and do some live streams when I get it all figured out!"
Sami shared the news about the collaboration, writing:
"As you know, I'm shooting with my mom soon @deniserichards if you tip in, I'll make sure to send you an extra special and sweet video from both of us. "
Though Sami described the shooting as "sweet," many recognized it as anything but.
According to The Sun, one person wrote on Instagram:
"As a mom of 2 daughters, I find this very disturbing... I love my girls but C'mon...I'm so grossed out!"
Another added:
"Ummm, NO! Who the hell does that with their child?! That's wildly inappropriate and disgusting."
As for what Charlie Sheen, Sami's father, thinks of it all, we can only guess.
Initially, the 56-year-old disapproved of Sami's decision to set up shop on OnlyFans. He told E! News:
"I do not condone this. But since I'm unable to prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy and creative and not sacrifice her integrity."
Sheen added that this did not happen under his roof, and he cannot do a thing since Sami is 18.
Denise defended her daughter by adding a lengthy Instagram post:
Do you think that Sami and Richards are crossing the boundaries of appropriate behavior? Or is this a good plan to earn more?
