Unfortunately, reports say that the star passed away on Sunday (December 27) in Nashville. The reasons for his death are still unknown.

His family confirmed the sad news, and the Davidson County Medical Examiner affirmed it to CNN on Monday, December 28.

As his memoir on the Discovery Go site indicates, Nick was ‘a seventh era angler who was raised not a long way from Dutch Harbor on the close-by island of Akutan, Alaska.’
