Dad Who Murdered Pedophile Friend For Sexually Abusing Daughter Is Released From Prison After Public Outcry

A Russian man who murdered his friend for raping his 8-year-old daughter is released from prison.

Vyachelav M., a 34-year-old rocket engine factory worker, was released after his supporters paid for his fees. He is now under house arrest.

The dad was drinking with his one-time best buddy, Oleg Sviridov, 32, when he saw a disturbing video of Sviridov's daughter being raped by the man.

Additionally, but not confirmed, Vyachelav saw other children from the area, which made him take justice into his hands.

The supporters hired and paid for the best defense attorneys, calling Vyachelav a hero father. Vyachelav cared for the young girl on numerous occasions.

On House Arrest For At Least Two Months

The man who killed an alleged pedophile will be under house arrest in his home in Pribrezhnoye for the upcoming two months, at least. The investigation is pending, and though he is home now, it doesn't mean that jail is out of the question.

Murder suspects are commonly kept in custody, but Vyacheslav avoided being in prison due to public outcry and support.

One Of The Victims Was Sviridov's Ex Lover's Daughter

Among the alleged victims was a girl whose mom dated Sviridov.

Speaking to the local newspapers, a woman's friend said:

"The woman had a daughter from her first marriage. Now it has turned out he was abusing the child. She is a very good caring mother. I can imagine what she feels like now the truth has come out."

Vyacheslav did not go for a hunt before calling the police. Despite his attempts to run, Svidirov was found by Vyacheslav before the authorities got to him.

Vyacheslav Claims It Was An Accident

For many, he is now a hero, though he said that he killed an alleged pedophile by accident:

His former friend Sviridov had "stumbled on the knife during a quarrel." Not many believe this version, but for Vyachelsav's family, it is crucial that the man can no longer hurt other children.

Vyachelsav's father said in an update:

"We have collected the money, thank you all. It was not friends or relatives who helped, but strangers from the village."
