You are probably wondering, who's behind this? The name's Potcake Place, an animal rescue organization that focuses on stray island dogs.
Their goal is simple: "to reduce the number of homeless potcakes on the island."
Potcake is a dog breed, by the way. The name has nothing to do with weed-based pastries. You get this breed when you mix a German Shepherd, Labrador, and Fox Terriers.
Now, About The Cuddles
You will enjoy a delightful time with the warmth these lovely and energetic furry creatures will offer you as you take a break from having a dip in the beautiful ocean water.
The puppies have an abundance of love, and if you feel overwhelmed and don't feel like breaking the love spell between you and your cute cuddle buddy, you can always take him home with you and live happily ever after.
On average, there are usually about 50 dogs in foster care at the shelter at any given time.
"We have a constant stream of puppies needing socialization and adoption."
You can simply visit the rescue center and get a dog before heading out to the beach to enjoy some good times together. At the end of a day of fun, you can take one puppy home as a pet.
"You can come by and take a puppy out to the beach – we'll give you everything you need, you just need to supply some TLC."

The organization takes donations, and they need them to keep the dogs in good condition until they find loving owners to care for them.
They don't even have a paid employee. All the workers are volunteers.
Where Did The Idea Come From?
According to the rescue, the fun experiences on the beach are great for the dogs: "... helps them to socialize with humans while also giving them a chance to get out and run around on the beach."
It is believed that potcakes have been around for around 100 years. They breed a lot, and that means there are lots of them, with most loitering the streets without owners.
While some locals take care of a lucky few, others get adopted by tourists and enjoy a good life elsewhere.
